I just got my yearly SS statement. The government has taken $40,000 from my earnings over my working lifetime, and I'm only 45. I won't even mention the additional $38,000 they have collected from my various employers over that time. Give me that $40k and watch me put it to good use!!!!!!!!!!! Me and all the rest of us.
Oh but wait, I forgot for a second that this is the world's biggest Ponzi scheme. My money isn't my money at all, it will or already has been given to those older than I that paid in all of their lives. Imagine what could be done if every American under say 50 that wanted the money could get it. Or even get a part of it, the economy would bloom.
The funniest part, well I mean the saddest part was the paragraph at the end of the statement that informed me that by 2017 more would be going out than coming in, and by 2030 or so, it would be broke.
Thanks US government for forcably taking my money against my will and "taking care of me" in my twilight years. They'll be twilight all right, if this once great land is still around.
